Christmas in Mexico

*This post brought to you by the amazing powers of Super Tech Dan!!*

It was really hard to believe that it was Christmas time. We were there till the middle of December, but the sun was soo warm, and the grass soo green, winter seemed a distant thought.

That's why the Christmas decorations held a strange fascination for me. I mean, a Christmas tree in summer? Ridiculous.

So, here are some pictures of Christmas in Mexico.

This is the entry to the main buffet area. They went with classic white.

Same entry. If you look close, you'll see the garlands. See how out of place they look next to the palms?

And this is the entry into the "Sports Bar" main entertainment area.

Pretty, eh?

These balls were everywhere. And they were pretty. And seriously everywhere.

Lining the walk from our room to the main area.....
(the spa is on the left, the Sports bar on the right)

In the grass.... just anywhere. Willy-nilly.

This is looking down from the lobby.

On the way to the beach...

This is in our buildings private pool area. Again, the white.

And in the main lobby. Pictures do not adequately convey the size of this.

It was massive.

Massive silver stars hanging from the roof. Massive tree.

And, the Nativity.
Again, massive. The Figures are a little more than waist high on me.

I love that there was a Nativity Scene.

So, I'm back to posting, thanks to the amazing and wonderful Daniel. I whipped this post out, 'cause it's way past Christmas, and I am tired.

I'm going to be like Donna.

Except maybe less colourful.

  1. Evergreens + palm trees = weird. It somehow doesn't look right.

The balls are odd. Like gazing balls without the pedestals.

Michael up 6x + Hannah up 2x = me wanting to be like Donna, too. ;)
