Farming in New York

One of the main things that struck me,
driving around in New York,

was how MUCH land was just lying fallow.

It was shocking.

100's of acres of fallow land.

Land not being used.

Just sitting there.

Feeding the deer.

So different from here, where evry square inch is used.

For something.

There?

Not so much.

So, today I'm going to post pictures of one of the very few "farms" I saw.

Now, these were taken from a moving Jeep,
so don't expect greatness,
mmkay?

Here it is on the approach.

Here's the front entry way...

And the side view.

Now, you may not believe that people live here.
But they do.

I saw them.

Plus, check out the satellite dish......

The barnyard...

And the cows.

So there you go.

A lesson in farming.

  2. It's good to see that they are saving money on house up grades! So the "farming" is well kept.
